Description
I've used Laticrete's Hydro Ban as a crack isolation membrane for this glass tile installation. It dries kind of an olive green colour.
I've also used Laticrete's 254 Platinum white mortar which is great stuff for high end work.

I'll post some photos of the finished work when it's completed.

No grout yet Bri .... I'll wait another 2 or 3 weeks when some of the other work is done.

What's the reason for the HydroBan, Harry?

Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner Kevin.
Glass expands and contracts at a much higher rate than regular tile and requires an isolation membrane to reduce the movement.
The glass manufacturer stated several they would allow ... Hydro Ban being one of them.

Looks great Harry. Those look like some large glass tiles. I have used alot of 254 its some highly modified t-set. Out of curiousity, how long did the Laticrete say the 254 would take to cure between the glass and Hydro-ban?
