Nice work. How do you deal with seasonal shrinkage in the wood/tile inlay?

Well what I did was left a 3/16 joint around the outside edge where the granite meets the hardwood.
Then I mixed my grout with clear silicone.

I have gone back to this job to check it out and ALL was perfect.

Huh. Never heard of doing that. What's your method?

Also, very professional workmanship, especially on the shower.

Most grout colors are available in "siliconized grout". I can't imagine trying to mix the two let alone trying to apply it after it's mixed

Harry, I guess I have to switch grout manufacturers. What brand do you use? The brand I use has only acrylic based caulking. I find the acrylic tends to attract dirt over time. It is also no good in wet areas.
