I'm constructing a new walk-in ceramic tile shower with glass block front pony walls (which create the open entrance into the shower area), SunTouch electric heated floor and heated bench, dual shower heads and body sprays, and a glass block window in the exterior wall. The glass blocks for the front pony walls will sit on a curb but the glass block opening that creates the walk-in has 45 degree angles to them which will take additional curbing. I started with an Oatey liner but realized that this is probably not the best move for this situation. I have posted some pictures of my project and ultimately here is what I would like to find out: 1. What would be the best product to use on the pre-slope for the shower pan? I was thinking maybe a type of liquid rubber with cloth/fiber mat so I could work it into the complex corners, but I don't know what type of product (and brand) is being used today by the pros for this type of custom install with complex angles. I would like it to be a product I can also use on the bench and seal it to the vinyl window. 2. Is there a way to salvage the Oatey Liner install at this point? 3. What should be used as a liner or sealer for the bench, bench to wall, bench to vinyl window, and wall to vinyl window areas? I screwed this one up this weekend. I hope to get some replies early this coming week so I can move forward this next weekend in a more appropriate way. Any help would be extremely appreciated at this point. Thanks, Rob

a skim coat needs to be "burned in", meaning pressing it hard into the deck with a steel trowel. It should be very thin, just enough to fill imperfections. Watered down white glue is a good bonding agent if you just need a small quantity.
