I have a customer that needs 350 sq ft of hall, small powder room and kitchen tile laid.
The floor needs an additional 1/2" plywood glued and screwed. The pattern will be 45 degrees 12 x 12 tiles. Materials without tiles run $900.
Baseboards, appliances and toilet need moving reinstalling etc. What would be a fair price to do this without the tile cost. I usually do smaller baths and don't do a lot of the large jobs. Tile stores usually send their people who I won't bother to compete with.

i'd find out what the stores charge per foot for install, it should give you the going rate for the job, then go from there

I would just let the tilers do the job.
