I've got 12x12 granite on my kitchen/vanity counter tops. I put them in early last year, and I was in a hurry to get them in so I could close on my new house in time to satisfy the bank. In my haste, I didn't keep the granite flat like I would have if I'd had more time. The edging is wood. If I wanted to grind/sand/polish the edges of the granite down so they will be more even, what would I use? I've seen different pads and tools on the internet, but I'm not sure what to use. The worst of them are about 1/16" lippage.
