It does what it says it does...no butter backing is needed to get 100% coverage(using the right notch trowel of course)In fact, I used a lot of the RS(rapid set) and this stuff was really nice to work with...usually you throw away more than you use when using a rapid set..but with this stuff...if you find it setting up in the pail...just give it a mix again with the drill..and keep going. So yeah..I like it...just wish it came in white. _________________________ Brian
