I have owned 2 jamb saws the larger crain model 812 which was ok It had lots of power and was pretty stable. I used it for about 3 years. The only problem that I had with that saw was changing the blade. For some reason they thought a blade lock was not necessary to change the blade. The saw I use now is the crain 555 I really like it. Im on my 2 year with it and dont have any complaints. This one has a blade lock. Some advice I will give is use anti seize on the blade bolt on any jamb saw. What I like about the crain is its made in the usa unlike the roberts whats made in korea hmmm that should be a no brainer i'll pay the extra.
