Sounds like some tile setters in NNJ *(if thats what they call themselves)... Alot of these guys really dont have a clue! I have been up against roofers who dont have enough work in the winter, so they bid on tile work. They tell the cust. they will tile right over self stick tile, not to mention the layers of underlayment they leave down. And to top it off, they are almost double my price. the up side is they usually dont get the job, but I feel sorry for the people who do sign contracts with them. Anyway, thanks again for the info on the lath!
