I've laid down 12 x 12 shiny marble tiles with a 1/16 grout line, im using Mapei Keracolor U grouting (walls and floor) and am wondering what type of sealer to get, I was at Rona and didnt feel comfortable with the clerks knowledge level.
also, when sealing this, do i seal the marble as well? or just the grouting?
my first thought was the marble has a shiny coat on it and most likely will not take in any of the sealer, but i could be wrong
any help is appreciated

There are lots to choose from, but if you can get into either Aurora or Barrie and drop into Tilemaster, they will have just what you need.

Rona super store in Barrie carries the Aqua Mix line of sealers. The RoVal line from Tilemaster are good too.

im not quite sure, i was assuming a penetrating sealer since it is marble, but i may be wrong,
it is 12 x 12 - 3/8 thick marble tiles, with 1/16 grout lines, what would you use in your experiences

another trip to Rona, another hour of shaking my head
anyway, i went to pick up the aquamix sealer and happened to talk to one of the guys who works there about grout, hes asked about the tile job throughout, since i bought most of the material , thinset and supplies there:
as i was going to get the sealer based on recommnedations and advice he told me not to bother sealing the grout and or tiles cause i would be wasting my money, "there is no need to seal the tiles or grout"
he said hes been installing for 8 years and hasnt used selaer yet, i remembered Mike Holmes saying on his show, just cause someone says they beem doing it for 20 years, doesnt make it the right way
so what does everyone think, is this guy insane? shall i just go ahead and do what i was going to do and seal it? there is no rush to use this shower since it is a second shower in the house
thanks for any replies
