I have a question about grouting this porous marble. I like the fact it is full of holes and voids and would like to keep it this way after grouting. How can I fill in the joints without filling in all the voids? Do I finger grout ( Take a hell of a long time) or have you guys ever tried that grout bag ( Like an Icing cake) Pasty bag. I can't see that icing bag idea working. Any ideas here.. Thanks.

The only time I've ever been asked to do that was when doing a love job for a good friend, how I got round the problem was to give him my grouting gear and told him to do it himself. Love only goes so far.
I do believe he and his wife did it with there fingers (that didnt quite sound right), turned out ok, but they do have a hell of a job keeping it clean behind the cooker.
Never tried the grout bag, but i suppose in theory it could work.

A major headache to grout unfilled stone and
leave the holes empty. you could possibly mask
off every single tile and or grout bag it. The
problem that exists is over time the holes will
collect dirt and anything else that come in
contact. whether its a dirty kitchen sponge,
grease or oils coming from the stove area. I wont
let anyone force me to grout an unfilled stone
without grouting the holes in. my suggestion is
to find a grout that matches the color of the stone to create "blend" of sorts. Sorry if im a bit late with the reply im a bit new here.
