The process I use with great success begins with a 4 inch v grooving blade for the grinder called a crack chaser. You literally follow the crack with this blade and it v grooves the crack. Afer I vacuum out the v grooved crack I use a product called Unitex Pro-Poxy204. It is a medium viscosity 1 to 1 epoxy that creates a bond/repair stronger than the concrete itself. I have never had a problem from using this system. I carefully pour the epoxy in the crack and after24 hours I sand it off with a 36 grit disk on my 7 inch sander. I never use any other product afterthe epoxy except thinset, etc.
This epoxy starts setting in 15 minutes and costs me about $ 55.00 per gallon.
