I decided to go only because I had a free airplane ride. I was only planning on attending Coverings in Orlando in early April. So I just went for a cheaper hotel off the strip. I took the monorail to the strip and so I had to walk thru Harrah's and then thru the Venetian to get to the Sands Expo.
