Greetings, i have an important question for the pros. I have to price a job where i have to slope a front porch, there are 3 porches 2 are 5x5, one is 9x7. the guys who did the concrete didnt slope them properly and water pools in the back corners and other spots, I have to install tile and slope it properly
im using an exterior product from mapei you can build it upto 3" thick. the porch have to about 1.5-2 inches at its highest point to provide good drainage as the porch has a big dip/low spot in the middle that has to be filled/leveled. I have finished the job and it took 1 day for the big porch and 1 day for the 2 small ones. im not sure how to charge for this but i have a 250-300 a day minumun so i figure il ask for 500 total for sloping

how much would it cost to get it done from a cement/mason company?

I have to install tile on it andtile on the "skirt or side" of the porches
how would you charge for it, the big one has about 20 linear ft of skirting, took a good half day as they have to be taped to hold up and not sag or slip. i usualy charge about 5$ a sqft to install exterior porcelain but small porches took from 10 am-8pm almost 2 days total, so what do you guys think, i know im worth 250 a day for the cement sloping , as the store i work for pays me 200 to pour a simple 10 sqft shower floor <in new construction too"> what do you guys think i could get away with charging?
ps this job is a builder whos customers complained about the porches and he told them hed put tile for them free. it is basicly not a typical job where someone has a choice weathewr they want to pay or not, it hadf to be done +++++++or hed get sued or something.plus the people were waiting a year they couldnt find someone

$7.50 per sq ft for just the sloped mortar bed PLUS materials (my opinion). $5 psf for tile is reasonable, and charge for estimated time on the front edge, based on how long you think it will take. There is no standard cost for any job, you need to make money while being as reasonably fair and competiitive as possible.
