ready for tile on cement board walls and mortar pan shower project. using 4x4 gloss ceramic on walls and unsure what to use on pan. notice most pic show mosaic on pans. why? should i use epoxy mortar or is best grade thin set ok?

tenj, mosaics are used because they form to the slope of the shower floor better than a larger tile will. Try to keep the floor tile at 3x3 or smaller, it will make your work a lot easier.

Read some of harry's articles on the main page. Make sure your whole shower is water proof (there should be poly behind your cement board or water proofing on it). Use white thinset with your glass tile and a good quality thinset for the floor. Epoxy mortars are great, but difficult to work with and not necessary in most cases.
