HI ALL. I USED PENETRATING ENCHANCER ON MY SPLASH BACK And i didn't like it , it penetrated and you could barely see any changes. any thoughs. i don't like any high gloss product as well. my back splash is crumbled (pourous) marble. i just want it wet look that stands for long time.
P.S. CAN I USED MINERAL OIL.
ANY HELP WILL BE HIGHLY APPRECIATED. THANKS.

Did you test a pc of stone before you put the enhancer on your back splash? Did you read the label on the product container?

Enhancer doesn't give the stone a "wet" look, it brings out the colours in the stone and may darken the overall stone colour. It will also change your grout colour. Enhancers are non reversible. Once there on, no changes can be done.

Sorry to say, your stuck with the look you have now. It's almost impossible to get any other product to absorb into the stone now.
And I personally would not use mineral oil.

I second what RC said....though....if you have an extra piece or scrap of the marble....put several coats on it, and see what happens. You may find you like the overall look and colour with a few more coats of sealer.

I personally use Aqua Mix Enrich'N'Seal
This product is a no-sheen penetrating sealer.
