Hi Guys, Dumb question, I am about to start tiling my bathtub surround and just wanted to ask a question. I know that a nice piece of trim is ideal for the corner of something where two tiles will intersect, but unfortunately I dont have the funds for that at this time, and I was wondering if you might have another idea to make it look good. Thank you guys, again for everything.

Heres some pics of where I'm at and the corners Im talking about are the lip of the top and side. and I have already red guarded the mortered spots.

Oh, yeah, any ideas on the Plug on the far wall too? It is a junction spot so I cant bury it, but I am tiling along that wall with the same 12 x 12 Tiles as I am doing the tub and floor with.

Where would you guys start tiling the walls or the flat part?

Never Mind Didnt realize how cheap the Metal Schluter Trim Was.

I would start with the floor, then bottom wall of the pedestal, then the deck, and then the actual walls. Think about the layout of the deck before you start the floor, so you don't end up with any silly narrow bits.

If you are using regular Schluter on the edge of the tub pedestal, it's possible to remove a "V" section of the back and then gently bend it the 45%. You have to get it right the first time though, because re-bending will break it.

As for your junction box: it's not allowed to be burried, but neither is it allowed to be within 6 feet of the water. Would it be possible to flip it around so that it faces into a different room?
