Yes, I'm happy with it.
I still have to cover my vehicle expenses, tools, and disability insurance. That amounts to about $5000 a year, or $2.50/hr.
I think that more important than the money is the fact that they don't argue much about my high quality standards. Occasionally I get asked to install on subfloors that I don't consider adequate, but when I explain my reservations and the fact that they are the ones warrantying the install, I usually get my way.
Actually on larger jobs I get a square foot rate of $3 to install, which usually ends up better than $30/hr.
