Hello
I'm doing bathroom project and only one place where I can cut carrara marble tile using water saw is outside garage. Because frosty weather will be next week I'm going add some windshieldwasher liquid to water to prevent freezing. The question is - can this liquid spoil marble polishing or color?

Thanks.

Serge.

fill up your saw with hot water. it will take a couple of hours to cool off to the point of freezing. Then drain and refill.

Or buy a bird bath heater. I got one at TSC and it works great. They are thin and sit nicely in the water tray.

Hey Bri, What's TSC? Not sure if we have that in Alberta.

Ahh right...the closet one to you is in Manitoba. Tractor Supply Company....I thought they were everywhere..sorry. But hey, just about any place that sells bird feed will sell a bird bath heater...or even a bucket heater for livestock. The little one's are about 30 bucks. smile

Thanks Brian. I really hate cutting inside a garage or outside in the winter. I bought a 'wet tent' for about $300. I see there is another, less expensive product that tents around the wet saw. On occasion, some customers won't let me setup the wet tent inside.
