You need to confirm first with the fabricator of your counter tops on what they recommend.
Your top should have been sealed when it left the supplier/fabricator.

ABC, I have used Aqua Mix products for years and with good results. I would recommend that you call their tech line for advice about which product is best in your situation.

I agree with RC about the slab already having been sealed. I'm surprised that yours isn't. I don't think I've ever gotten a slab for a job that hadn't been sealed by the fabricator. Whether or not they did a good job applying the sealer is another story.

If you don't have access to Aqua Mix products, Miracle in another top-quality brand.

DuPont Stone Tech is another good quality sealer manufacturer.

You might want to do a small water test first to see if you need a sealer or not.
Place a water drop that's about 1" across on the granite. Let it sit for 15 to 30 minutes. It should bead up if there is a sealer or the stone is very dense. If it gets sucked into the stone right away then you need to seal. Just to be sure, wipe up any remaining water with a paper towel and check to see if the granite has changed to a darker color where the water was. If it did, then you definitely need to seal the granite. If it did not change color then your stone is already sealed or is very dense and does not need a penetrating sealer.

You want a penetrating sealer, not a topical sealer.
Read the manufacturers specs and recommendations for stone sealers that are available in your area.

worst case, your sealer will not penetrate into the stone because it's sealed already and you will just wipe it off. Note of caution: any excess sealer needs to be thoroughly wiped off the surface before it sets. This is usually about 10 to 15 minutes after application. If you fail to get all the excess off you will get hazing or streaks that are very time consuming to buff out.
