I am thinking of using Kerlite in my shower floor to reduce grout lines. it comes in 39"x39" slabs and only 2mm thick.
Because it is thin, it can bend a little bit. For my shower (40"x54") I am planning on cutting diagonally to reduce the flex and accommodate compound pitch.
