I am hunting for a supplier who matches Mr. Marble's quality and who will be able to custom build a shower base. This base needs to have a drain at the back end, long and narrow; not in the middle or in exposed in a corner. I would like the water to drain down towards the back of the shower where there would be a narrow metal strip with slots in it to allow the water to escape.

My purpose is to allow me to put a chair in the shower if I need to shower someone sitting down. I do not want anything to get in the way of the chair or the person such as a drain in the middle.

Sorry, but better late than never, we use " noble" linear drain systems, user freindly, not cheap but works, easy to install and will pass water testing
