Done correctly, no more than a week to 10 days. That's what it takes me to do a complete tearout and rebuild, start to finish.

Much of it can depend on the layout of the tile, whether or not there are accents or patterns, etc. But even that shouldn't affect it more than a day or two.

This really depends on the project. It it's ready to tile when I walk in, then 5 days. That would include mortar shower pan, complete water proofing, building a niche, tile and grout.

If the project has an acrylic or similar shower pan, then subtract a day, if tear out and re-sheating are required, then add one to two days.

People work at different speeds, but people also charge different rates, so doing a fair comparison is not always easy.
