Finally getting around to tiling the shower in my finish basement project. After the tile is up, is it best to silicone caulk the angled seams prior to grouting? Or grout first?

I will be using sanded grout on the 6x6 tiles and Laticrete Latisil for the corners and in the shower niche. It would appear easier to caulk first to prevent grout from entering the seams. Then after Latisil sets, grout to finish.

What's the best way to go?

Thanks in advance,

FGH

Always grout first, then caulk the corner joints last.
After grouting and cleaning you can just scrape out any grout that may have filled the corner joints.
