i purchased a house 6 years ago that had heated tiles in a sunroom. the foors worked for a few years and this year they stopped working. I don't think it is a radient heat floor...i think its the other style...how do you tell the difference if you didn't see the foor installed? and more importantly how do i fix them? the thermostat turns on it says "warm tiles" on it, i don't know if thats a brand of floors? any way it turns on but the tiles don't heat up any more...where do i begin to check for reaons why its not working?

If you have a wall thermostat that says Warm Tiles, then you have an electrical floor heating system. The type of heating may be a loose wire type or the mat system.

If your not comfortable working with electricity or knowledgeable about the heating system then I suggest you call in a licensed electrician.
