Chris S Junior Member Registered: 03/20/07 Posts: 6 Loc: Toronto	Hi There, Is there any sort of tiles/stone which would be ideal for the inside of a fireplace?? Fire-rated/non combustable?? or does it not matter. I was thinking of slate or granite... Thanks,

RC Senior Member Registered: 10/21/03 Posts: 1797 Loc: Ontario, Canada	If your talking about the inside of the firebox on a masonry type wood burning fireplace then it must be lined with firebrick. That's code. _________________________ Randall
