I'm the tile guy now. my question is what i can salvage of the previous work. here is what was done so far. the old stall ripped out. (which was a single corner stall, now were going to 60" stall) a seat was framed in the end opposite showerhead, and the shower itself framed in. Then a hotmop guy put roof tar liner in it. Then paper of some type then chickenwire on walls with mud.the shower stall has 50lbs of cement mixed with 120lbs of sand. all the way to the weepholes. He said water will pass. everything i read says thats no good. the tiles are set on the wall and most of the shower stall. 1/4 rounds top it off. with grout topping it off. does any of this sound a little bit correct?
