I need a little help here since I've heard of doing it both ways. I plan to cut and prime my beadboard wainscoting while it's off the wall, but I'm not sure if I should do the final coat of paint before or after mounting it.
If I paint it on the wall I'm guessing the gaps in every other ridge will be less notable, but there is also the risk that the painted joint will crack as wood expands/contracts.
What is the proper way to do this????
