I've looked and really haven't seen anything that covers all of my questions. I'm putting in 16" x 16" ceramic tiles in the kitchen, foyer and powder room. The substrate is the builder tongue n groove with the top particle board. I ripped off the old mersawa with linoleum and installed new mersawa. My questions are: 1) Will flexbond hold to the smooth side of the mersawa or should I scuff it up. 2) How long should I wait until I put the stove, fridge back on the tiles? 3) The area in the foyer/powder room creeks quite a bit. The joists are 12" centers and I've screwed the particle board down before the mersawa and it still creeks. How can I stop this and will it affect the longevity of the tile/grout if I can't get rid of the creeks.

Hate to tell you, but there shouldn't be any particle board anywhere under or remotely close to tile. Your just asking for trouble.

I may be calling it by the wrong name. There is tongue n groove on the joists with another board on top (chip board maybe). I placed the mersawa on top of that. The house is ten years old.
