I finished my second slope over my shower liner and realized after it had dried that the slope is a bit to steep and also that i havent built it up enough around the drain, so that if i put the tile down now it would be lower than the drain. Can i go ahead and put down another thin layer of sand and cement or should i try to build it up around the drain and lessen the slope with thinset? Thank you for your responces

At this point you should use thin set. You'll have to apply it...well....thin. So if you have to give a a couple of coats, then that is better than one heavy coating. Thin set is sticky and hard to trowel smooth...plus too thick will shrink and crack. Give it a skim coat, and then an hour later, you should be able to give it another coat.
