We are tiling our shower in our master bath right now, and had NO idea what "fun" it was going to be. We are the epitome of do-it-yourselfers- and should be okay but we can't figure out how to do the corners of the shower curb- where the wall meets the curb. Every book, and site I have been too either just skips over this part or tells you to use a pre-cut corner or "shower dam" We can't find these anywhere in our area - Home Depot and Lowes both looked at my like I was crazy. I KNOW people tile their showers around there, I see them all the time in model homes. Is there another way to do this, and still have it be waterproof? Can I just glue the membrane down onto the curb- especially where the cut has been made? Any advice would be appreciated- I also need to know if instead of covering the curb with mortar, can I just cover it with cement backerboard? Thats what they told me at Lowes...
Thanks
