i recently moved to kingston ontario to persue my tiling career. However i would like to try to get some of my own work, ive found that when you'r in someones house doing a job and you offer something like "i can do this for x ammount" theyjump on the offer. alot of folks think tile or grantite or marble is super expensive cuz theyve been going through stores for quotes, but when they find out how much u can do things for they are quick to jump on the offer. i want to target several different aproaches to getting jobs.

i also thought of a barder system., ie go to a printing shop, redo their storefront or bathroom with tile and they make me a bunch of singns etc.

church< do some voulenteer tile work, hopefully the people who atend will apreciate it and have the minister say u can give good rates for friends n family.

i was thinkink some mad capped "go to real-estate agents and offer a service where i "fix up" the house so it sells and i get to put a lean on the house or something..could also act as a "gift" from the agent to the home buyer, he could say i will even buy you a new bathroom , something like that could make him a big sale, scince tile is so trendy and upper class. he could say it cost him 2000 when it only cost 1000


general traditional advertising, local papers, signs on bulitin boards.. i even have gotten alot of work hand delivering panphlets with my girlfriend in "target neighborhoods"
